If you've tried sticker charts, rewards, fiber gummies, or just waiting for your child to outgrow it...you're not alone.
Why Pediatric Pelvic Floor Therapy?
From infancy through adolescence, bathroom challenges can affect so much more than toileting. Constipation, accidents, bedwetting, urinary urgency, painful bowel movements, and even picky eating can all impact a child's comfort, confidence, participation in daily activities, and family life.
Pediatric pelvic floor occupational therapy takes a whole-child approach to uncover the "why" behind these challenges. By looking at movement, breathing, sensory processing, feeding, habits, and pelvic floor coordination, we create individualized strategies that help children feel more comfortable in their bodies—and more confident in the bathroom.

Issues like potty training, picky eating, accidents, constipation, and UTIs can feel overwhelming and personal. Reaching out is a brave step and a meaningful gift to your child. Here, every child and family is treated with respect, kindness, and understanding. Therapy moves at your child’s pace, prioritizing comfort and emotional safety.
Getting Started Is Simple
In New Jersey, a referral isn’t required to begin occupational therapy—so your child’s journey can start whenever you’re ready.
However, if your child is currently under the care of a urologist, gastroenterologist, or gynecologist, Integrated Senses is happy to collaborate with their medical team to ensure coordinated, whole-child support.
We can also help you communicate your child’s needs to teachers, caregivers, and other support staff—creating consistency across home, school, and daily routines so your child feels supported in every setting.
